Smile Design Dentistry specializes in General, Cosmetic, and Surgical Dentistry. They signed with Dgency in January of 2017 to help manage their PPC advertisement campaigns and to develop an effective long term online marketing strategy.
The owner became frustrated with Google Ads (Formerly AdWords) after managing the ad account in-house. He had a few substantial issues:
- The ad account was not properly optimized to target relevant Google search engine users and conduce to conversions.
- Most of the profit-generating keywords had poor quality scores.
- Cost-per-click was very high.
- The lack of conversion tracking efforts was directly causing to doubt the effect of Google Ads.
Build Google Ads campaigns that follow the website structure so that we can be very specific about the ad group and keyword selection to counterattack the high CPCs of the dental industry.
Be able to target the ideal market (i.e., people in the targeted location in need of the main dental services).Install conversion tracking mechanisms so that we can know, and back up with tracking data that our campaign is well-performing.
Get at least 60 high-quality leads per month coming from the search engine campaign.
Dgency’s chief digital marketing strategist, Shawon Kayum, began taking action by:
Recommending website optimization to provide a great user experience and improve the number of conversions coming from website visitors. Google search ad copy in the ads showcased their unique value propositions like the fact that they accept walk-ins, have multiple payment plans and their numerous new patient specials, and much more.
In order to maximize the budget, our PPC campaign focused on advertising the main services such as Dental Implants and Teeth Whitening. We focused on advertising their main services within a 25-mile radius of Lakeland, where the office is located, and the majority of their potential clients live.Call and contact form conversion tracking were installed on the website to monitor the return on ad spend from the campaigns. In addition to this, Google analytics was used to monitor campaign performance further.
Since we started running the Google search campaign, we decreased cost per lead by 80%, increase conversion rate by 45%, increased leads in a year by 600%, and decreased cost per new patient acquisition by 40%.
In the first month of running our new Google Ads campaigns, we came close to reaching the target goal with 55 website leads. We were able to bring in a high amount of leads over time consistently, and also managed to decrease the cost per lead. The average revenue per lead generated was tremendous and groundbreaking for the industry, not to mention way higher than the initial goals we set.
The continuous success of Smile Design Dentistry could not have been achieved without a conversion-focused optimized website, a well-structured PPC campaign that enabled us to target quality search terms that convert at a low cost and accurate conversion tracking.
“Our company has done over $2 million in sales with the help of Dgency. Just to put this into perspective, it usually takes a brand new dental office over ten years to break $1 million in sales.”
